John Galliano's inspiration this time around seems to be the ridiculous fashions from the Napoleonic war era which translates into an extreme emphasis on eccentric coiffures and jaw dropping transparent dresses.Despite the unusual theme, the collection still included the usual spring fare of cute florals, bright oranges and delicious pink. The collection on the whole is very dreamy yet wearable. The huge platforms and sculpted heels sported by the shoes added a zing to their favour. It is left to be seen how platforms would be emerging as a dominant trend in the coming season. To sum it all up, the collection seems to yell "Where's the party tonight?".
