John Galliano's Spring 2009 Haute Couture had all the usual elements of theatrical opulence.His shoes beget the same level of excitement as his clothes. This year his collection can be summed up as "Fantasy in Strings".The color palette is lovely and the shoes "very Galliano"!! May the GOD rain more shoes kissed with fantasy!!!

Before your neurons start firing crazy impulses, let me clear the air by saying that these spring couture shoes showcased by Roger Vivier are so vertiginous that they are ideally meant to be worn for walking between your living room and bedroom, considering that these shoes retail at five figures I'm assuming that even that walk would be a considerable distance. While the first shoe is a double decker made of croc skin, the second one is of 20 carat gold encrusted with diamonds on the bird of paradise so beautifully seated on the vamp!!! Viva la couture!!!
